STRICTLY, JUST SHARING

Yep, STRICTLY I am sharing here and not bossing around about my child is able to read as early as 2 yrs old. I would like to share as much as possible any effective tool to help young children to learn, some may take it negative that's normal, tha bitching click while some may take it positively, thank you. Thus this reading will be useful for those enthusiastic parents or parents-to-be, who are always excited to witness a new world opening up for their children.

What are they watching? Its their routine, after breakfast and shower, time to tune in to Your Baby Can Read dvd before the Hi5 programme starts.

There was one segment showing a baby was combing her hair and so does Dany. He quickly ran to the coffee table, hopped onto it and started to comb his hair.

Too engrossed with the programme..

Eirfan was pretty engrossed too and glued to his seat... only for a while... at least for one programme.. Unlike Dany, doesnt mind repeating the show for several times and watch it like as if its a new programme. Still experimenting and trying to understand Eirfan's learning style. Its interesting to learn their learning styles varies from one another.

Some segments in the programme.

A useful tool to get your child to read at a very early age. Its a fun thing to do. Learn as they play, stimulating their brain development and enable your child to recognise words instead of learning phonics, a traditional way to get them to learn to read. Once your child has word recognition skill, they are able to read faster rather than getting them to blend the words which take a longer time to pronounce and thus they took slower time to digest and comprehend a story.

With sing-along songs to entertain children. Kids love to sing so does Dany!

Its the Twinkle twinkle Little Star song. We always sing it to Dany when he was a newborn showing him the actions and until now he still remembers. At 6 mths old hes able to show some actions like making a diamond using his fingers and do that incy wincy spider action. I sing to him everyday when showering him, changing his diaper or at any time that I can catch up with him. Honestly, I forgot all the lyrics to most of the nursery ryhmes. What's internet for, rite?.. hehe~

At 8 mths old, hes able to sing along but not with clear pronunciation and gradually till hes 2 yrs old, his pronunciation got better. Its fun to see this kind of progression.

A word play segment getting your child to identify the words they asked for.

Suddenly, the cranky boy starts to cry for help.. Heellp! I'm tired already!!

The moment I carried him, he was already in his dreamland.. Haizzz... Eirfan, eirfan.. Oklah, catch up with your beauty sleep..

But not Dany, he is still entertained, singing and dancing along with Head, and Shoulder, Knees and Toes song..

He has watched this programme a zillion time, all the 5 volumes.. Hes not bored at all..
